The work is shaped around you, not the other way round.
How it starts
A conversation. No formula, no obligation, no preparation needed. We talk about what you're sitting with, what kind of support would actually be useful, and whether the working relationship feels right. If it doesn't, I'll say so. If it does, we agree how to proceed.
How the work unfolds
Most engagements run between three and six months, with sessions every three to four weeks. Sessions are typically sixty to ninety minutes, held in confidence, and shaped around what's actually on your mind — not a pre-set curriculum.
The early work is usually one-to-one: thinking clearly about direction, testing assumptions, working through the decisions that matter most. Where it's useful, the can extend into the team you lead, into stakeholder dynamics, sometimes into the strategic direction itself. The work evolves as the situation does.
Some leaders work with me for a defined period around a specific transition or decision. Others retain me as an ongoing thinking partner over longer stretches. Both are common; neither is the default.
What you can expect
Honest conversation. Considered challenge. Confidentiality. Real-world judgement, not abstract theory. A space where you can think out loud without performing — and where the harder questions get asked, not avoided.
What this isn't
Mentoring on what I would do in your shoes. A formula or framework programme. Therapy. Generic leadership training. Motivation without substance.
The next step
If you're sitting with a challenge of direction or alignment, or simply want a thoughtful conversation with someone who's been in the seat, the best next step is to get in touch.
